The Role

We are seeking a highly skilled Senior Supplier Manager to join our refreshed IT/OT Procurement and Supplier Management team. As a key member of our global team, you will have the opportunity to work on exciting projects across RWE's businesses, including Renewables, Energy Trading, and more.

  • Develop and maintain strategic relationships with high-value IT vendors and internal stakeholders, ensuring seamless collaboration and effective communication.
  • Lead change projects and implement process improvements to enhance operational governance and vendor management.
  • Define and implement vendor innovation goals, monitor execution, and communicate progress to internal customers.
  • Identify and mitigate risks associated with third-party providers of IT-related goods and services.
  • Collaborate with Procurement Business Partners to capture and understand current and future demand, ensuring efficient contract management throughout the life cycle.
  • Work closely with Procurement Category Teams to develop and define sourcing strategies, ensuring performance is constantly evaluated and re-assessed.
  • Support team members' development and delegate tasks as needed.

Your Profile

  • Proven experience in supplier management and procurement practices, with a deep understanding of IT/OT supply market trends and threats.
  • Excellent influencing and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work effectively with stakeholders at all levels.
  • High flexibility, attention to detail, and a willingness to adapt to new approaches and ideas.
  • Strong organizational, change, and project management skills, with the ability to deliver results to schedule and targets.
  • Excellent proficiency in English; German language skills beneficial but not essential.
