Job Summary:We are seeking a skilled Highways Operatives to join our team at W P Recruitment HR LTD. As a Highways Operatives, you will be responsible for performing various tasks related to groundwork and civil engineering, including drainage, concreting, kerbing/bricklaying, and tarmacking.
Key Responsibilities:- Perform groundwork and civil engineering duties, including drainage, concreting, kerbing/bricklaying, and tarmacking.
- Operate machinery and hand tools safely and efficiently.
- Manual handling and driving duties.
- Adhere to technical specifications, quality, and health and safety standards.
- Good level of previous groundwork experience, preferably in civil engineering.
- Full driver's license, with a 7.5-tonne (C1) driving license preferred.
- Reliable and physically fit, with the ability to work well under instruction and as part of a team.
- Higher pay rates may be available to candidates who hold NRSWA, EXCAVATOR, or DUMPER tickets.
The successful candidate will be required to work in a fast-paced environment, with a focus on delivering high-quality results while adhering to health and safety standards.
Salary and Benefits:The salary for this position is £11.57-£12.48 per hour, dependent on experience and certifications. Overtime is paid at 1.5 times the hourly rate.
