About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Human Resources Lead to join our team at Oryon Imaging. As a key member of our organization, you will play a critical role in shaping our recruitment and retention strategy, as well as contributing to the achievement of departmental objectives.

Key Responsibilities
  • HR Strategy and Planning: Actively involved in delivering the HR strategy, proactively lead discussions, develop and communicate HR processes.
  • HR Function Management: Liaise with the company's HR lawyers directly to proactively manage HR function, ensure the company's HR policies, contracts and processes are all reliable, up to date, and understood across the company.
  • Employee Relations: Advise Oryon's managers on people management, guide new managers on attaining relevant skills, lead workshops and training, help manage performance concerns and disciplinary actions when required.
  • Recruitment and Talent Acquisition: Own the recruitment strategy, making sure its relevance in respect to external and internal forces and taking proactive actions to hire and retain great talent, oversee the entire recruitment process from ensuring the presence of the right job descriptions for the roles and the right channels used for candidate sourcing, to fulfilling the vacancies within agreed timelines, conducting screening interviews, providing feedback, and onboarding.
  • Employee Onboarding and Offboarding: Oversee new starter inductions, and the leaver process, carry out exit interviews and provide feedback to relevant parties.
  • Contract Management: Lead contract delivery and advise on the terms and conditions of employment.
  • HR Administration: Oversee the administration of PeopleHR platform, monitor all annual leave and absence, manage the HR and recruitment budget.
  • Training and Development: Oversee employees' training, learning and development, work with the Compliance Manager to ensure all HR practices comply with regulatory requirements.
  • Departmental Objectives: Deliver against the department objectives and targets, manage, guide and look after the development of the HR Assistant.
  • Culture and Wellbeing: Actively involved in building and nurturing employee culture, oversee Social Butterflies' activities, budget and deliverables, help organise internal events when required.
  • Benefits and Wellbeing Program: Oversee the benefits and the wellbeing program, oversee payroll administration.
About You
  • You're great with people and genuinely nice to be around.
  • Previous HR Lead/HR Business Partner experience.
  • CIPD qualified.
  • Knowledge of the UK Employment Law & HR best practices.
  • Experience in employee relations.
  • Experience in supporting senior leadership.
  • Experience in budget management.
  • Experience in submitting payroll data.
  • Experience in policy writing is an advantage.
  • Excellent communication skills.
  • Excellent knowledge of English, written and spoken.
  • Educated at a degree level.
