We've recently completed a review with The Growth Foundation, a renowned brand and DTC growth consultancy, to guide our growth strategy. This career-defining role will play a crucial part in helping us achieve our objectives.

About the Role

As our Head of Brand Development, you'll report directly to our Co-Founder and be responsible for leading our brand development strategy. You'll oversee the tactical execution of Organic Social, Earned Social, and Brand Activations, driving greater brand equity and reach, followers, engagement, collaboration, traffic, and sales for NAMED COLLECTIVE.

Key Responsibilities

  • Strategic Support: Collaborate with our founders to codify and continuously improve our strategy, ensuring alignment with our goals and targets for the next three years.
  • Tactical Execution: Lead the team and elevate the output of our Organic Social media, increasing reach, following, and engagement. Develop and launch channels in new and emerging platforms to stay ahead of the curve.
  • Earned Media: Lead the team and elevate the output of our Earned Social media, leveraging 3rd party influence to engage our target audience. Maintain influencer relations, ensure NAMED COLLECTIVE is regarded as a market leader, and facilitate product seeding and training.
  • Campaign Management: Collaborate with our Head of Creative to populate the campaign calendar, ensuring alignment with our brand and marketing objectives. Develop campaigns to increase brand awareness and drive sales, while maintaining a strong understanding of competitor activity and market trends.
  • Content/Creative: Work closely with our Head of Creative to create image, video, copy, and other assets needed to execute and elevate our Organic and Earned channels.
  • Brand Custodian: Develop and maintain a distinctive, differentiated, and engaging customer brand proposition, including visual identity, tone of voice, product, and service style. Monitor market conditions and brand health to ensure long-term financial and reputational success.

About You

We're looking for a strategic thinker with a growth-oriented attitude, comfortable with ambiguity, and able to navigate the fast-paced nature of our direct-to-consumer, e-commerce business. You'll have a deep understanding of our target audience, be passionate about fashion, and have a finger on the pulse of brand or social media building techniques, process, and fashion trends and styles.

Requirements

  • 5+ years of brand and marketing management experience in an aspirational brand or company.
  • Proven success in leadership within brand or social disciplines, with a track record of coaching and developing a multi-disciplinary team.
  • Experience managing a 7-figure brand or marketing budget across multiple marketing channels.
  • A proven track record and clear vision on building Influencer Marketing and PR.
  • Experience within aspirational fashion products or services or brand/creative agency.
  • Demonstrated ability to build strong relationships with key stakeholders and influence at all levels.
  • Strong commercial sense to ensure actionability of results.
  • Strong planning and organizational skills with a sense of priority and attention to detail.
  • Demonstrate out-of-the-box thinking in approaching new and innovative ways of executing.
  • Excellent time management skills and the ability to adapt well to change and multi-task.
  • Maintain a strong understanding of competitor activity and activity within the fashion/apparel market.
