About the Role

The Head of Brand Development Strategist will play a critical role in driving the growth and success of ASOS's branded portfolio. This is a diverse and strategic position that requires a deep understanding of the fashion industry and the ability to build strong relationships with key stakeholders.

Key Responsibilities
  • Develop and execute a comprehensive brand development strategy to elevate and diversify ASOS's branded portfolio.
  • Identify and acquire new brands to add to the portfolio, staying ahead of global and social trends to ensure ASOS remains a leader in the fashion industry.
  • Drive a branded localization strategy for core markets, ensuring that ASOS's brand offerings are tailored to meet the needs of local consumers.
  • Build and maintain strong relationships with key brand partners, negotiating the best terms for ASOS and driving sales growth.
  • Develop and execute go-to-market strategies for new brands, working closely with internal teams to ensure seamless and efficient onboarding processes.
  • Lead regular meetings with the Partner Brands Director and wider Product team to review planned projects and initiatives.
  • Identify opportunities to improve department efficiency and suggest ideas to increase ASOS's exposure and raise its profile to support growth.
Requirements
  • Ability to build and deliver strategies that drive business growth.
  • Deep understanding of the fashion industry and the 3rd party brand space.
  • Strong interpersonal skills and effective communication, including the ability to create and deliver sales pitches tailored to each individual brand.
  • Experience with brand acquisition and onboarding, as well as driving efficiencies and speed in processes.
  • Creative, analytical, and goal-oriented with a thinking outside the box mindset.
  • Entrepreneurial and collaborative with a strong ability to build relationships and partnerships.
