Job Summary

This position requires a Temporary Financial Operations Assistant with a keen eye for detail and a strong background in Accounting & Finance. The successful candidate will be responsible for various financial duties within a public sector environment.

Key Responsibilities

  • Assisting with key areas such as contract-out-services (COS).
  • Downloading the transactions, and putting against the correct VAT Code.
  • Supporting the management of financial documentation and records.
  • Contributing to budget planning and management.
  • Collaborating with the finance team to achieve departmental objectives.
  • Maintaining confidentiality of sensitive financial information.
  • Assisting in internal and external audits when required.

Requirements

  • Tax experience.
  • VAT knowledge (Contracted-Out-Services knowledge would be an advantage).
  • Strong Excel skills.
  • Experience working with CIS payments.
  • Excellent numerical and analytical skills.
  • Strong interpersonal and communication skills.
  • Ability to think on your feet.
