Job Summary:

We are working in partnership with a multi-award winning boutique hotel to find a talented Sous Chef to join their team. As a key member of the kitchen team, you will be responsible for assisting the Executive Chef in the day-to-day running of the kitchen.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Assist the Executive Chef in menu planning, food preparation, and presentation
  • Supervise and coordinate the kitchen team to ensure efficient service
  • Monitor food costs and inventory levels to maintain profitability
  • Ensure high standards of food safety and hygiene are maintained
  • Collaborate with the Executive Chef to develop and implement new menu ideas

Requirements:

  • Proven experience as a Sous Chef in a high-end hotel or restaurant
  • Strong leadership and communication skills
  • Ability to work under pressure in a fast-paced kitchen environment
  • Knowledge of food safety and hygiene practices
  • Flexibility to work varied shifts, including evenings and weekends
