About the Role

Aramark UK is seeking an experienced Catering Manager to lead our team at Sunbury, Surrey. This is a permanent, full-time opportunity reporting to our Site Lead.

We provide world-class contract catering services to a diverse range of clients across the UK, including Defence, Judicial, private industry, and Education. Our teams are comprised of talented professionals who deliver exceptional culinary experiences.

A Day in the Life of a Catering Manager

  • Support the Site Lead in implementing the new food programme and driving innovation.
  • Lead a team with a people-focused approach, fostering engagement and natural management styles.
  • Collaborate with the Head Chef to ensure optimal stock levels, Opx, and waste management processes.
  • Champion excellent guest experiences, implementing guest communication tools to enhance the experience across all areas.
  • Ensure RRP is maintained, and tariffs meet client and company requirements.
  • Implement schemes, including new products, planograms, procedures, and menu specifications, adhering to Aramark guidelines and brand standards.
  • Develop commercial relationships with suppliers, ensuring high-quality service and financial returns.
  • Coordinate daily tasks, ensuring inventories and statistical reports are completed correctly and on time.

Requirements

  • Experience as a Catering Manager in a contract catering environment
  • Leadership and management skills, including team management
  • Proven track record in high-volume commercial operations and delivering budgeted profit levels
  • Strong organisational and time management skills
  • Flexibility and ability to work independently
