About the Role

Aramark UK is seeking an experienced and dedicated Catering Manager to join our team. This is a permanent and full-time opportunity that will report into our Site Lead and be based on site.

We provide world-class contract catering services to our extensive list of clients across the UK, including Defence and Judicial, private industry, and Education. Our team is comprised of talented professionals who deliver exceptional culinary and catering experiences.

Key Responsibilities
  • Support the Catering Site lead in implementing the new food program and ensuring the required experience is embedded.
  • Lead and manage a team of staff, focusing on people development and engagement.
  • Drive innovation to enhance the guest experience, working closely with the Head Chef to ensure correct stock levels and effective Opx and waste management processes.
  • Champion excellent guest experiences, implementing guest communication tools to enhance the guest experience across all areas.
  • Ensure RRP is maintained as per company policy and that the tariff in all areas meets client and company requirements.
  • Implement schemes, including new products, planograms, procedures, and menu specifications, ensuring adherence to Aramark guidelines and brand standards.
  • Develop good commercial relationships with suppliers, ensuring receipt of service and quality levels required to obtain the highest financial return.
  • Coordinate others to ensure all daily paper and computer work is complete, and inventories and statistical reports are completed correctly and on time.
Requirements
  • Experience as a Catering Manager in a contract catering environment.
  • Ability to lead and manage a team.
  • Man management of teams of staff.
  • Proven track record in high-volume commercial operations and delivering budgeted profit levels.
  • Strong organizational and time management skills.
  • Flexibility and ability to work on own initiative.
