Children and Young People Specialist

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced professional to join our team as a Children and Young People Practitioner. As a key member of our team, you will play a vital role in supporting children, young people, and their families in Surrey.
Key Responsibilities- Provide support to children, young people, and their families, working collaboratively with professionals to ensure the best possible outcomes.
- Develop and deliver training programs for partnership colleagues, focusing on neurodivergent support and child development.
- Contribute to the creation and maintenance of a database system, ensuring accurate data collection and evaluation of services.
- Work closely with schools to identify training needs and support the co-production of programs with children, young people, and their parents/carers.
- Attend team meetings and training events, working collaboratively with Barnardo's staff to deliver high-quality services.
- Minimum of 3 years' experience working with neurodivergent young people and their families.
- Strong understanding of the challenges faced by neurodivergent children and families.
- Experience of working 1:1, in groups, and online.
- Knowledge of child/young person development and safeguarding regulations.
- Access to a car and business car insurance.
