As a Paediatric Physiotherapist Specialist Band 7, you will play a crucial role in providing high-quality care to children and young people with a range of physical disabilities and conditions.
Main ResponsibilitiesThe successful candidate will be responsible for:
- Assessing and diagnosing children and young people with physical disabilities and conditions
- Developing and implementing individualized treatment plans to improve mobility, function, and quality of life
- Providing education and support to children, young people, and their families to promote independence and self-management
- Collaborating with multidisciplinary teams to ensure comprehensive care and support
- Participating in clinical rotations and professional development opportunities to enhance skills and knowledge
To be successful in this role, you will need:
- A Bachelor's degree in Physiotherapy or a related field
- Registration with the Health and Care Professions Council (HCPC)
- Experience working with children and young people with physical disabilities and conditions
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team
