We are seeking a dedicated and experienced professional to join our team as a Children and Young People Practitioner. As a key member of our team, you will play a vital role in supporting children, young people, and their families in Surrey.
Key Responsibilities- Provide support to children, young people, and their families, working collaboratively with professionals to ensure the best possible outcomes.
- Develop and deliver training programs for partnership colleagues, focusing on topics such as child development, safeguarding, and neurodivergent support.
- Contribute to the creation and maintenance of a database system to track and evaluate the effectiveness of our services.
- Work closely with schools to identify training needs and support them in delivering high-quality programs.
- Engage with children, young people, and their parents/carers in the co-production of programs, ensuring their voices are heard and valued.
- Minimum of 3 years' experience working with neurodivergent young people and their families.
- Strong understanding of the challenges faced by neurodivergent children and families.
- Experience working 1:1, in groups, and online.
- Knowledge of child/young person development, safeguarding, and promoting the welfare of children.
- Access to a car and business car insurance.
