Strategic Leadership Role

Paradigm Housing Group is seeking a highly skilled and experienced professional to join our executive team as Assistant Director of Strategy & Policy. This is a pivotal role that will play a critical part in shaping the future of our organisation and guiding us through the challenges ahead.
About the Role:As Assistant Director of Strategy & Policy, you will be responsible for driving the development and implementation of Paradigm's corporate strategy and key policies. This includes leading our commitment to becoming a net zero carbon business by 2050, through the creation of detailed and costed plans.
You will work closely with the executive team to anticipate and respond to legal, regulatory, and external changes that impact the housing sector. Your leadership will ensure we stay ahead of the curve and position Paradigm as a leader in the sector.
Key Responsibilities:- Develop and execute Paradigm's corporate strategy and policy initiatives.
- Lead our commitment to becoming a net zero carbon business by 2050.
- Anticipate and respond to legal, regulatory, and external changes that impact the housing sector.
- Work with senior leaders to coach, motivate, and inspire teams across the organisation.
- Present insights and proposals to internal and external audiences in a clear, concise, and compelling manner.
- Collaborate with the executive team to drive new approaches and innovation within the business.
- A deep understanding of the social housing sector and the ability to anticipate and respond to external challenges.
- Proven leadership skills, with the ability to coach, inspire, and engage teams across the organisation.
- Strong communication and stakeholder management skills, with the ability to convey complex information clearly and persuasively.
- Experience in developing and implementing strategic initiatives, particularly in response to regulatory or market changes.
- A commitment to innovation and continuous improvement, with the ability to drive new approaches and best practices.
