Job Description

We are seeking a skilled Payroll Administrator to join our Payroll and Shared Services team at our Spalding site.

As a Payroll Administrator, you will provide comprehensive administrative support services covering the employee lifecycle process in a timely manner and in accordance with employment legislation and Company policy and procedures.

You will support the delivery of an accurate and timely payroll administration service for all weekly and monthly payrolls.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Administer the Payroll in-box and respond to payroll queries in a timely manner.
  • Assist in processing the monthly and weekly payrolls, including calculation and accurate input of weekly and monthly timesheets.
  • Ensure accurate calculation and recording of absence and attendance records, contractual and statutory payments, and statutory deductions.
  • Set up statutory and third-party deductions within the payroll system.
  • Administer weekly and monthly pension communications.
  • Prepare and distribute payroll-related reports using payroll systems, Excel, and Pivot Tables.
  • Communicate overpayments of pay and assist with debt recovery.
  • Collaborate with the HRSS team to provide a professional, effective, and efficient service to colleagues.
  • Work with the Payroll Shared Services Manager to maintain the OVOTT and ensure alignment with contracts of employment and changes to terms and conditions.
  • Perform general administrative duties as required.
Requirements:
  • Experience working in a high-volume payroll environment.
  • Knowledge of Excel, including experience with Pivot Tables.
  • Experience with IT packages relevant to payroll systems.
  • Flexibility, thoroughness, and attention to detail.
  • Knowledge and understanding of confidentiality requirements.
  • Highly organized with ability to prioritize and multitask.
