Key Responsibilities
In this position, your responsibilities will include:
- Assessing clients to determine speech, language, voice, fluency, and swallowing challenges.
- Creating tailored treatment strategies based on evaluation outcomes and individual client requirements to enhance communication abilities.
- Applying methods to improve articulation, fluency, vocal quality, and both language comprehension and expression.
- Assisting clients with dysphagia to enhance their capacity to safely consume food and liquids.

Qualifications
Essential Requirements
- Recognized qualification in Speech and Language Therapy or equivalent.
- Valid License to Practice.
- Registration with HCPC.
- Postgraduate training in dysphagia and a minimum of two years of post-qualification experience in this area.
- Proficiency in preparing and utilizing electronic information systems.
- Up-to-date IT skills, including knowledge of Microsoft Outlook and Word.
- Familiarity with RIO patient-held record systems is advantageous.
- Access to a vehicle for community-based work.
