Key Responsibilities- Evaluate patients to identify speech, language, voice, fluency, and swallowing disorders.
- Develop treatment plans based on assessment results and patient needs to improve speech, language, and communication skills.
- Implement techniques to enhance articulation, fluency, voice quality, and language comprehension and expression.
- Work with patients experiencing dysphagia to improve their ability to safely swallow food and liquids.
- Recognised Speech and Language Therapy Degree Qualification or equivalent.
- Licence to Practice.
- Registered with HCPC.
- Dysphagia post-graduate training and at least 2 years post-grad experience of working with dysphagia.
- Competent and confident in preparing and using electronic information.
- Up-to-date IT skills and knowledge of Microsoft Outlook and Word.
- A knowledge and/or experience of using RIO patient-held record system would be beneficial.
- A car for community work.
