Key Responsibilities
In this position, your responsibilities will include:
- Assessing clients to determine the presence of speech, language, voice, fluency, and swallowing challenges.
- Crafting individualized treatment strategies based on evaluation outcomes and specific client requirements to enhance communication abilities.
- Applying methodologies to improve articulation, fluency, vocal quality, and both comprehension and expression of language.
- Assisting clients with dysphagia to enhance their capacity to swallow food and liquids safely.

Job Requirements
Essential Qualifications
- Recognized qualification in Speech and Language Therapy or equivalent.
- Valid license to practice.
- Registration with the Health and Care Professions Council (HCPC).
- Postgraduate training in dysphagia and a minimum of two years of post-qualification experience in this area.
- Proficiency in utilizing electronic information systems.
- Up-to-date IT skills, including knowledge of Microsoft Outlook and Word.
- Familiarity with the RIO patient record system is advantageous.
- Access to a vehicle for community-based work.
