Job Summary

The Commercial and Regulatory Legal Counsel will play a critical role in supporting our global business on general commercial matters. This includes focusing on commercial tenders, in-licensing, digital and data protection matters.

This position reports to the Senior Legal Counsel and is part of the Legal department. As a member of our team, you will have the opportunity to work on a wide range of projects and contribute to the success of our business.

Key Responsibilities

  • Data Privacy and Protection
    • Review data privacy impact assessments and negotiate and draft data protection agreements.
    • Assist with data subject access request processes.
  • Commercial Support
    • Support our global sales team on e-procurement and tenders.
    • Negotiate and draft MSAs, custom development agreements, supply agreements, and MTAs.
  • In-Licensing and Compliance
    • Negotiate and draft in- and out-licenses.
    • Develop and provide training for the global business on legal issues, policies, and procedures.
    • Provide support on compliance matters.

Requirements

  • A qualified solicitor with a strong academic background and experience in supporting life sciences clients in private practice and/or working in-house in a life sciences organization.
  • Experience working in global cross-functional teams with both senior and junior stakeholders in a matrix organization.
  • Ability to manage and prioritize multiple assignments.
