We are seeking a highly skilled Clinical Psychologist/Psychological Therapist to join our dynamic team at Cumbria, Northumberland, Tyne and Wear (CNTW) NHS Foundation Trust. This exciting opportunity is a 12-month fixed term/secondment position working within the H.O.P.E team, a psychology-led service co-developed with individuals with lived experience of mental health services.

Main Responsibilities

The successful candidate will provide assessments, therapy, and group interventions through a combination of video calls and face-to-face appointments across community venues in Northumberland. Key duties include:

  • Providing one-to-one assessments, therapy, and group interventions
  • Triage, supervision, and training
  • Collaborating with a multidisciplinary team, including a family therapist and consultant clinical psychologist
Requirements

To be successful in this role, you will need:

  • An Honours Degree in Psychology or a related field, with post-graduate qualifications in psychological assessment and therapy
  • Experience in psychological therapy, including assessment, formulation, and interventions
  • Skills in working with individuals with interpersonal/relational difficulties
  • Training in Clinical Supervision
  • Experience of establishing and running groups
