Executive Chef Assistant

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Sous Chef to join our team at a luxury hotel in Devon. As a key member of the kitchen team, you will be responsible for supporting the Executive Chef in the day-to-day running of the kitchen, as well as leading the team in their absence.
Key Responsibilities:
- Support the Executive Chef in menu planning, food preparation, and presentation
- Lead the kitchen team in the absence of the Executive Chef
- Supervise and train junior kitchen staff members
- Assist with kitchen organization and maintenance
- Contribute to the creation of new menu ideas and dishes
Requirements:
- Previous experience as a Sous Chef in a high-end kitchen
- Strong knowledge of fine dining cuisine and presentation
- Ability to work well under pressure and maintain high standards
- Excellent communication and leadership skills
- Availability to work flexible hours, including evenings and weekends
