Position Overview

An exceptional opportunity has arisen for a Director of Infrastructure Finance - EMEA to join a leading European Corporate & Investment Bank.

Key Responsibilities

  • Lead the origination, structuring, execution, and management of project finance and acquisition finance transactions within the energy, infrastructure, and technology, media, and telecommunications (TMT) sectors across the EMEA region.
  • Oversee the activities and responsibilities of vice presidents, associates, and analysts in transaction and portfolio management.
  • Coordinate with internal stakeholders to ensure smooth transaction processes.
  • Maintain oversight of internal ratings and compliance with money laundering reassessment risks for structured finance transactions, while supervising the monitoring of periodic reports and credit reviews related to the portfolio.
  • Ensure compliance with the requirements of a Certified Person.

Candidate Profile

The ideal candidate will possess:

  • A minimum of 7-8 years of experience in project finance and structured finance transactions within the energy, infrastructure, and TMT sectors, including due diligence, credit analysis, execution, and documentation.

Required Competencies

  • A degree in finance, economics, or accounting.
  • Formal training in credit analysis.
  • A strong background in credit analysis and financial modeling.
  • Proficiency in financial products, finance, accounting, and documentation.
  • Expertise in MS Office Suite, including Word, Excel, and PowerPoint.
  • Strong analytical and financial modeling capabilities.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills for effective interaction with diverse internal and external stakeholders.
  • Ability to conduct independent due diligence and analyze industry trends.
  • Experience in managing complex transactions as a transaction manager or deal team coordinator.
  • Advisory experience is a plus; a team-oriented approach is essential.
