Job SummaryAs a Project Finance Intern at Crédit Agricole CIB, you will assist in the execution of large and complex project finance transactions in the Infrastructure sector within EMEA. You will work under the supervision of deal team leaders and other team members to arrange and advise on debt advisory and asset & disposals advisory projects.
The Infrastructure sector includes transportation, social infrastructure, environment, regulated utilities, and other hybrid infrastructure sub-sectors. You will be responsible for assisting transaction team leaders in the execution of project finance infrastructure transactions, including financial modeling, documentation, and due diligence processes.
Principal Accountabilities- Assist transaction team leaders in the execution of project finance infrastructure transactions, including financial modeling and documentation.
- Support directors in their general sector-oriented business origination activities, including participation in marketing efforts and carrying out sector-specific research.
- Ensure that Infrastructure client results are properly reported through internal systems.
- Prepare marketing material for presentation to clients.
- Assist in the preparation of credit applications.
- Cooperate actively with other business teams as transactions may require cross-department activities.
- Assist in syndication process, including drafting of info memo and handling of Q&A with syndicate banks.
- Assist in populating transactional internal systems.
- On an ad hoc basis, assist in managing transactions in portfolio.
- Understanding of financial engineering principles, including experience in spreadsheet-based financial analysis and some understanding of tax and accounting principles.
- Knowledge of risk analysis methodology in the context of complex structured transactions.
- Understanding of technical and commercial aspects of project finance.
- Financial education background (MBA or equivalent).

- Experience: Work experience / internships in related field (project finance)
- Required Skills: Proactive, Team-player, Good interpersonal skills, Ability to work well under pressure, Ability to prioritize and meet tight deadlines.
- Technical Skills Required: Good IT skills – good knowledge of Excel in general and project finance models in particular, Fluent English oral & written, Numeracy and analytical research, Verbal and written skills.
