Exciting Opportunity for a Quantity Surveyor

Tangram, a leading residential developer, is seeking a skilled Quantity Surveyor to join their team. As a key member of the project management team, you will be responsible for ensuring cost control, financial reporting, and managing budgets on large-scale residential projects.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Manage the cost control and financial aspects of projects valued between $10M and $50M.
  • Conduct feasibility studies and cost-benefit analysis to support project decision-making.
  • Administer contracts, including managing variations and progress claims.
  • Collaborate with project managers, contractors, and stakeholders to ensure projects are delivered on time and within budget.
  • Provide regular financial updates and reports.
Requirements:
  • 2-5 years of experience as a Quantity Surveyor, with a preference for multi-unit residential project experience.
  • Bachelor's degree in Quantity Surveying, Construction Management, or related field.
  • Knowledge of construction contracts and relevant New Zealand legislation.
  • Proficiency in cost management software such as CostX, Buildsoft, or similar.
  • Strong organizational skills and attention to detail, with the ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously.
