About the Role
We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Quantity Surveyor to join our team at Brandon James Ltd. As a Quantity Surveyor, you will play a crucial role in managing the financial aspects of construction projects, ensuring that they are completed on time, within budget, and to the required quality standards.
Key Responsibilities
- Manage the financial aspects of construction projects, including estimating, cost planning, and budgeting.
- Develop and maintain strong relationships with clients, architects, engineers, and contractors.
- Conduct site visits to monitor progress, identify potential issues, and ensure compliance with project specifications.
- Prepare and submit detailed reports, including progress reports, cost reports, and final accounts.
- Collaborate with the project team to identify and mitigate potential risks and issues.
Requirements
- Minimum of 2 years' experience in quantity surveying or a related field.
- Strong knowledge of construction law, contracts, and regulations.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office, particularly Excel.
