We are seeking a skilled Quantity Surveyor to join our team at Brandon James Ltd, a leading construction consultancy based in Kent. As a Quantity Surveyor, you will play a crucial role in managing the financial aspects of construction projects, ensuring that they are delivered on time, within budget, and to the required quality standards.
Key Responsibilities:- Manage the financial aspects of construction projects, including cost estimation, budgeting, and forecasting.
- Develop and maintain strong relationships with clients, architects, engineers, and other stakeholders.
- Conduct site visits to monitor progress, identify potential issues, and ensure compliance with contractual requirements.
- Prepare and submit regular reports to clients and management, highlighting project progress, costs, and any potential risks.
- Collaborate with the project team to develop and implement cost-saving strategies and optimize project profitability.
- Minimum of 2 years' experience in quantity surveying or a related field.
- Strong knowledge of construction law, contracts, and regulations.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work effectively with clients, colleagues, and other stakeholders.
- Proficient in MS Office, particularly Excel, and other construction software.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team, with a strong focus on delivering high-quality results.
- A competitive salary of £40,000 - £45,000 per annum.
