Job Description

At Cook Brothers Construction, we are seeking an experienced Site Manager to lead our site teams on commercial and high-end residential projects in Queenstown. As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for delivering projects from start to finish, ensuring timely completion, and maintaining high service quality.

  • Key Responsibilities:
  • Strategically plan and manage project programs to meet deadlines and budgets.
  • Liaise with clients and stakeholders to ensure effective communication and high-quality service delivery.
  • Lead and mentor site teams to achieve project objectives, implement construction methodologies, and adhere to policies and procedures.
  • Mitigate risks and implement solutions to ensure project success.
  • Report on health, safety, quality, cost control, and budget performance.
  • Meet key performance objectives and deliver projects on time and on budget.
  • Manage sub-contractors and coach/mentor team members to achieve high-quality outcomes.
  • Attend and lead site meetings and toolbox talks.

Requirements:

  • At least 5 years of commercial construction site management experience.
  • Strong leadership skills and ability to recognize team successes.
  • Excellent communication skills and ability to navigate tough conversations.
  • Leadership of health and safety.
  • New Zealand/Australia site management experience.
  • Commercial build experience.
  • High-end residential experience is an advantage.
