They are seeking a site-based Building Operations Manager to oversee a prestigious commercial property in the heart of Central London. This facility is occupied by a major financial entity, and the primary objective of this role is to ensure that all operational aspects of the building are upheld to the highest standards.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Oversee and update the Planned Preventative Maintenance (PPM) schedule
  • Manage contractor call-outs and ensure timely attendance for both proactive and reactive tasks
  • Facilitate surveys, quotations, and present competitive pricing for required work packages
  • Support vendor relationship management to ensure service level agreements are met
  • Assist with financial accrual processes
  • Maintain a schedule of contracts and notify management of upcoming renewals
  • Support space planning and coordination of office relocations
  • Conduct monthly inspections of the office and ensure follow-up on related actions
  • Coordinate temporary security coverage with relevant contractors as necessary
  • Contribute to the development of team processes and procedures for consistent results
  • Manage the movement of packages and office furniture
  • Perform printing, binding, and mailroom duties
Candidates for this position should meet the following qualifications:
  • 2-3 years of proactive facilities or office management experience in a corporate setting
  • Strong understanding of essential office systems (HVAC, electrical, plumbing)
  • Excellent organizational abilities
  • Capability to manage multiple priorities and workload effectively
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite, particularly Excel, Word, and PowerPoint
  • IOSH Working/Managing Safely certification
  • Outstanding interpersonal and organizational skills
