Site Manager Job Description

Your new role
  • Oversee and manage all on-site activities for residential construction projects, ensuring timely completion, budget adherence, and high-quality standards.
  • Coordinate and supervise subcontractors, suppliers, and site staff, maintaining accurate records of site activities, including daily logs, progress reports, and material deliveries.
  • Conduct regular site inspections to ensure compliance with safety regulations and building codes, resolving any issues or conflicts that arise during the construction process.
  • Implement and enforce health and safety policies on-site, monitoring project progress and providing regular updates to senior management.
  • Ensure all work is carried out in accordance with the project plans and specifications, communicating effectively with clients, architects, engineers, and other stakeholders.
Requirements
  • Proven experience as a Site Manager or similar role in residential construction, with strong knowledge of construction processes, materials, and legal regulations.
  • Excellent leadership and organisational skills, with the ability to read and interpret blueprints and technical drawings.
  • Strong problem-solving abilities and attention to detail, with effective communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Proficiency in MS Office, with SMSTS, CSCS, and First Aid certifications.
