About the Role:

We are seeking a highly skilled Senior Contracts Analyst to join our team at Raytheon Technologies. As a key member of our Commercial team, you will play a critical role in developing and maintaining strong relationships with our customers, driving commercial growth, and ensuring the successful delivery of our contracts.

Main Responsibilities:

  • Respond to Requests for Quotations (RFQs) for equipment and services, from initial request to contract award.
  • Support the Commercial team in preparing responses to complex Requests for Proposal/ Invitation to Tender (ITT)/ Pre-Qualification Questionnaire (PQQ) etc.
  • Implement and manage standard agreements, such as Non-Disclosure Agreements (NDAs) and template contracts.
  • Provide support to Programme and Business Development teams throughout the prospecting and bidding process.
  • Support the business finance function to manage the invoicing and cash collection process.
  • Participate in cross-functional improvement activities.
  • Complete all commercial functional requirements from cradle-to-grave on supply contracts.
  • Understand and comply with export controls and other regulatory requirements, including GDPR and Government classifications.
  • Work with the business teams to meet central targets and local challenges.
  • Provide input to gate packs and understand policy requirements for the gate process.

Requirements:

  • Bachelor's degree in a business-related field or equivalent experience.
  • Ability to respond to tasks with tenacity and flexibility, while working cross-functionally in a multi-disciplinary team.
  • Ability to remain calm under pressure and collaborate with others.
  • Attention to detail and excellent verbal and written communication skills.
  • Understanding of Contract Management and Procurement principles.
  • Self-motivation and independent working.
  • Ability to travel occasionally within the UK.

Desirable:

  • Commercial judgment and experience of negotiation.
  • Awareness of Public Sector Procurement regulations and other relevant commercial and contract legislation.
  • Attendance at customer and supplier meetings in support of supervisor.
  • Familiarity with business process management tools (IPDS, SAP or similar) and the competitive bidding process.
