An exciting opportunity has arisen for a Senior Finance Analyst to join the ATMS Team at Raytheon Technologies. This is an area of the business that is moving at a fast pace with a strong sales forecast and further potential for growth.

Main Responsibilities:

  • Working across the Sensors UK business areas supporting the achievement of all key performance indicators (KPIs), including bookings, sales, profit, and cash.
  • Supporting the establishment of the Annual Operating Plan (AOP) and five-year plan targets, ensuring alignment with business objectives.
  • Providing high-quality, accurate, and actionable financial analysis and insight to support the Sensors Finance and Programme teams.
  • Supporting the development of the AOP and 5-Year Plan, Quarterly Estimate at Completion (EAC) reporting, and monthly forecasting and variance analysis.
  • Acting as the financial conscience of the business, ensuring adherence to Business and Financial Policy.
  • Providing financial insight to support the business risk and opportunities process, including development, analysis, mitigation, and review.
  • Working closely with Financial Planning and Analysis, Business Programme Finance, and Central Finance Services to ensure seamless communication on financial issues.
  • Building a network with all stakeholders and championing best practice to improve systems and processes.
  • Supporting the Finance Manager to develop meaningful financial analysis to support new business investment decisions and pricing.
  • Providing ad-hoc financial analysis and decision support.

Candidate Requirements:

  • Qualified accountant (CIMA preferred or at final strategic level)
  • Resilience to work in a fast-paced, changing organisation
  • Commercially astute
  • Proactive, analytical, and inquisitive
  • Attention to detail and process adherence
  • Highly organised and self-motivated
  • Excellent communication and presentation skills

Desirable:

  • Relevant commercial experience in a similar defence or complex contracting environment
  • Project Accounting experience
  • Experience of working with SAP, Cognos, MS Office Applications (Word, PowerPoint, Excel)
  • Existing security clearance or ability to achieve a level of security clearance
