Senior Finance Analyst/Business Partner

Raytheon Technologies is seeking a highly skilled Senior Finance Analyst/Business Partner to join our Training Team. This is an exciting opportunity to work in a fast-paced environment with a strong sales forecast and potential for growth.

The successful candidate will provide high-quality financial analysis and insight to the Finance and Programme teams, supporting the development of the Annual Operating Plan (AOP) and 5-Year Plan, Quarterly Estimate at Completion (EAC) reporting, and monthly forecasting and variance analysis.

Main Responsibilities:

  • Support the achievement of all key metrics, including bookings, sales, profit, and cash.
  • Contribute to the establishment of AOP and 5-Year Plan targets.
  • Support the Programme Execution Team with EAC reporting.
  • Assist in new business proposals, including pricing, basis-of-estimate generation, foreign exchange management, and risks and opportunities management.
  • Act as the financial conscience of the business, ensuring adherence to Business and Financial Policy.
  • Provide financial insight to support the business risk and opportunities process.
  • Build a network with stakeholders.
  • Champion best practice and improve systems and processes.
  • Support the Finance Manager in developing meaningful financial analysis for new business investment decisions and pricing.
  • Perform ad-hoc financial analysis and decision support.

Candidate Requirements:

  • Qualified accountant (CIMA preferred).
  • Resilience to work in a fast-paced, changing organisation.
  • Commercially astute.
  • Proactive, analytical, and inquisitive.
  • Attention to detail and process adherence.
  • Highly organised and self-motivated.
  • Excellent communication and presentation skills.

Desirable:

  • Relevant commercial experience in a similar defence or complex contracting environment.
  • Project Accounting experience.
  • Experience of working with SAP, Cognos, MS Office Applications (Word, PowerPoint, Excel).
  • Existing security clearance or ability to achieve a level of security clearance.
