Raytheon Technologies is seeking a highly motivated and detail-oriented Senior Contracts Analyst to join our dynamic Project Delta team. This role offers an exciting opportunity to contribute to the growth of our rapidly expanding Training Transformation Services business area, which focuses on developing cutting-edge technologies and delivering fast-turnaround sales solutions for our key clients.

As a Senior Contracts Analyst, you will report directly to the Contracts Manager and play a crucial role in managing the contractual relationships with our customers. You will be responsible for a wide range of tasks, including responding to Requests for Quotations (RFQs), supporting the Commercial team in preparing proposals, implementing standard agreements, and providing support throughout the bidding process.

This position offers exposure to a complex commercial environment encompassing diverse contracting methodologies across multiple sub-program types. You will collaborate closely with internal stakeholders, including Programme and Business Development teams, as well as external partners, to ensure successful contract execution and compliance.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Respond to RFQs for equipment and services, from initial request to contract award
  • Support the Commercial team in preparing responses to complex Requests for Proposal (RFPs), Invitations to Tender (ITTs), and Pre-Qualification Questionnaires (PQQs)
  • Implement and manage standard agreements, such as Non-Disclosure Agreements (NDAs) and template contracts
  • Provide support to Programme and Business Development teams throughout the prospecting and bidding process
  • Collaborate with the finance function to manage invoicing and cash collection processes
  • Participate in cross-functional improvement activities
  • Ensure compliance with export controls, GDPR, Government classifications, and other relevant regulations
  • Work closely with business teams to achieve central targets and address local challenges
  • Provide input to gate packs for the policy requirements of the gate process
Qualifications:

Essential Requirements:

  • Bachelor's degree in Business Administration or equivalent experience
  • Proven ability to respond to tasks with tenacity and flexibility while working effectively within a multi-disciplinary team
  • Strong collaboration skills and the ability to remain calm under pressure
  • Exceptional attention to detail
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills
  • Understanding of Contract Management and Procurement principles
  • Self-motivation and independent working capabilities
  • Willingness and ability to travel occasionally within the UK

Desirable Requirements:

  • Commercial judgment and experience in negotiation
  • Awareness of Public Sector Procurement regulations and other relevant commercial and contract legislation
  • Experience attending customer and supplier meetings in support of supervisors
  • Familiarity with business process management tools (IPDS, SAP or similar) and the competitive bidding process
