This role presents a unique opportunity to join a dedicated team of community podiatrists focused on delivering exceptional care to patients.
Key Responsibilities
As a Senior Podiatry Specialist, you will function as an independent practitioner, responsible for:
- Conducting comprehensive assessments, diagnoses, and treatment plans for patients with complex needs, particularly in diabetes and wound management.
- Providing high-quality care in various settings, including community environments and clinical facilities.
- Managing a diverse caseload while exercising professional judgment in treatment and care delivery.
- Collaborating with multidisciplinary teams to enhance patient outcomes and ensure continuity of care.
- Offering guidance and support to junior staff, fostering a collaborative and educational environment.
Essential Qualifications
The ideal candidate will possess:
- A minimum of five years of post-graduate experience in podiatry.
- Extensive expertise in managing high-risk foot conditions within the healthcare system.
- Experience working collaboratively across various healthcare settings.
- Strong communication skills to effectively engage with patients and healthcare professionals.
