PRS, a leader in the niche engineering market, is in search of a Senior Commercial Lead. The ideal candidate will possess experience in mission-critical environments, particularly in data centre, HVAC, and Facilities Engineering sectors. A strong understanding of the complexities surrounding MEP engineering in data centres is essential.

This role is integral to the central commercial team within a forward-thinking engineering organization. The successful candidate will join a compact yet highly effective commercial unit, managing multiple projects at varying levels of engagement while enhancing relationships with clients, internal engineering teams, and principal contractors.

This senior position reports directly to the Commercial Director. After establishing a solid track record within the organization, there are opportunities for advancement. Candidates should be self-reliant, inspiring leaders, innovative thinkers, and career-oriented.

We are looking for a dynamic and seasoned Senior Commercial Lead to join our client's central commercial team. This pivotal role will focus on managing and optimizing the commercial elements of MEP project execution and facilities services, ensuring profitable growth while maintaining robust relationships with clients and internal project teams.

The ideal candidate will have extensive knowledge of the MEP and facilities management sectors, exceptional financial insight, and a proven history in contract oversight and client relationship management.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Contract Oversight: Manage and supervise contracts, ensuring adherence to terms, timely renewals, and negotiation of advantageous conditions for both the company and clients.
  • Business Growth: Identify and pursue new business avenues, develop proposals, and lead negotiations to secure new contracts and partnerships.
  • Financial Management: Monitor financial performance, prepare budgets, and conduct regular financial assessments to ensure profitability and cost efficiency.
  • Client Relationship Management: Cultivate strong relationships with existing clients, addressing their needs and concerns while ensuring high levels of customer satisfaction.
  • Market Research: Conduct market analysis to stay informed about industry trends, competitor activities, and opportunities for business expansion.
  • Team Leadership: Lead and mentor a team of commercial professionals, fostering a collaborative and high-performing work environment.
