Role Overview: Bramwith Consulting is on the lookout for a proficient Procurement Specialist with a focus on public sector procurement frameworks. This position entails overseeing the re-procurement of legal services frameworks and delivering expert insights on procurement operations within the public sector.
As the Public Procurement regulations evolve, it is crucial for the selected candidate to be well-versed in the upcoming Procurement Act 2023, which is set to be implemented in the near future.
Bramwith Consulting anticipates a significant surge in projects, with a robust pipeline of new opportunities expected, and is keen to recruit a legal procurement professional on a part-time basis to assist in managing this growth and to provide specialized knowledge in legal services procurement.
Key Responsibilities:
- Oversee the re-procurement of current public sector legal services frameworks, ensuring adherence to the latest Procurement Act 2023 and related regulations.
- Prepare procurement documentation, including specifications, notices, advertisements, explanatory materials, selection questionnaires, invitation to tender, pricing schedules, quality assessment questions, scoring matrices, and contract agreements.
- Advise on potential procurement challenges and facilitate the execution of frameworks, including managing Access Agreements, Framework Agreements, and Award administration.
- Provide tailored procurement advice and support to clients as required.
Required Skills and Competencies:
- Comprehensive knowledge of the Procurement Act 2023, Procurement Regulations 2024, and processes for "Light touch services" procurement.
- Demonstrated experience in public sector organizations, particularly in overseeing professional services or legal services contract frameworks.
- Strong interpersonal skills, capable of engaging with colleagues across various levels.
- Exceptional attention to detail, with outstanding accuracy and organizational capabilities.
