Senior Procurement Specialist Role

We are seeking a highly skilled Senior Procurement Specialist to play a key role in the growth and development of our organisation. As a leading advanced technology innovation centre, we are working with a range of organisations to accelerate the adoption of digital technology.

About the Job
  • Manage procurement activities in accordance with policies and procedures, ensuring compliance and efficiency.
  • Run tenders and undertake the end-to-end procurement process with ease, leveraging e-procurement tools to support the business.
  • Collate information to report to the Procurement Department, providing valuable insights and recommendations.
  • Develop templates, processes, and documentation to support the procurement team, enhancing their capabilities and productivity.
  • Provide training to internal departments on processes, procedures, and commercial best practices, promoting a culture of excellence.
  • Solve complex issues using critical analysis skills and negotiation skills, driving business outcomes and value.
About You
  • Knowledge and experience in UK Public Procurement Law is essential, with a proven track record of compliance and risk management.
  • Previous experience in a Procurement role in the public sector, providing specialist advice and identifying/managing procurement related risks.
  • Proven experience in running multiple tender processes and managing workload, with a strong attention to detail and organisational skills.
  • Knowledge of e-tendering tools and public sector procurement regulations, with a strong understanding of commercial best practices.
What We Offer
  • Salary: £50,000 - £60,000
  • Pension scheme: double-matched pension up to 10% of salary
  • Flexible benefits package: 4% of salary to use towards selecting benefits of your choice
  • Annual leave: 25 days + bank holiday + 3 days between Christmas and New Years
Working Arrangements

Hybrid working: 2 days a week in our central London office, with flexibility to work remotely and manage workload effectively.
