About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Director to join our Edinburgh office and lead our Environmental Impact Assessment (EIA) and wider impact assessment services. As a key member of our UK-wide team of environmental planners, you will be responsible for developing our portfolio of impact assessment projects in the energy sector and others.

This is a strategic appointment that will play a key role in the geographical expansion of our services and boosting leadership for our presence in Edinburgh. You will work closely with our specialist EIA teams, who are involved in some of Scotland's and the wider UK's most important projects, including nationally significant infrastructure projects that facilitate the decarbonisation of the energy system and help secure biodiversity enhancement.

Key Responsibilities
  • Lead and grow a team of environmental planners
  • Develop and implement strategies to expand our impact assessment services
  • Build relationships with clients and stakeholders to identify new business opportunities
  • Manage and deliver projects to high standards, ensuring timely and within-budget completion
  • Contribute to the development of our company's environmental planning services and expertise
Requirements
