Environmental Planning Director

LUC is seeking a highly skilled and experienced Environmental Planning Director to join our team in Edinburgh. As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for leading and developing our Environmental Impact Assessment (EIA) services, working closely with our specialist EIA teams to deliver high-quality projects.
Key Responsibilities:
- Lead and develop our EIA services, working closely with our specialist teams to deliver high-quality projects.
- Develop and implement strategies to grow our EIA business, identifying new opportunities and building relationships with clients.
- Manage and mentor a team of environmental planners, providing guidance and support to ensure they have the skills and knowledge needed to deliver exceptional results.
- Collaborate with our UK-wide team of environmental planners to share best practices and ensure consistency in our approach to EIA.
- Stay up-to-date with the latest developments in EIA and environmental planning, applying this knowledge to inform our services and ensure we remain at the forefront of the industry.
Requirements:
- Proven experience in environmental planning and EIA, with a strong track record of delivering high-quality projects.
- Excellent leadership and management skills, with the ability to motivate and inspire a team.
- Strong commercial and financial acumen, with the ability to develop and implement business strategies.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build strong relationships with clients and colleagues.
- Ability to work collaboratively as part of a team, sharing knowledge and expertise to deliver exceptional results.
