About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Director to join our Edinburgh office and lead our Environmental Impact Assessment (EIA) and wider impact assessment services. As a key member of our UK-wide team of environmental planners, you will be responsible for developing our portfolio of impact assessment projects in the energy sector and others.

This is a strategic appointment that will play a key role in the geographical expansion of our services and boosting leadership for our presence in Edinburgh. You will work closely with our teams to build our portfolio of impact assessment projects and generate new business within our existing sectors and additional sectors of interest to the Director and wider team.

The ideal candidate will have a strong background in environmental planning and impact assessment, with experience in renewable energy and energy infrastructure impact assessment. You will be a competent manager and respected project director, with a strategic mindset and the ability to lead and grow a team.

Key Responsibilities
  • Lead and develop our EIA and wider impact assessment services in the Edinburgh office
  • Build and maintain relationships with clients and stakeholders
  • Develop and implement business strategies to grow our portfolio of impact assessment projects
  • Manage and lead a team of environmental planners and impact assessors
  • Stay up-to-date with industry developments and best practices in environmental planning and impact assessment
