We are seeking a highly motivated and organized Logistics Administrator to join our team at The Recruitment Co. in Newport.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Liaise with clients to arrange importation and exportation of commodities, ensuring timely and accurate quotations.
  • Obtain and coordinate HMRC documentation and information for importation and exportation consignments.
  • Calculate and key accurate data pro-forma via third-party software or Government Portal.
  • Coordinate with hauliers, agents, and carriers to book shipments and ensure correct client information and paperwork.
  • Update and invoice jobs to clients, dealing with internal and external account queries.
  • Prepare and complete Import and Export Customs Declaration and Delivery documentation via third-party software or Government Portal.
  • Develop and maintain strong working relationships with clients, hauliers, agents, and carriers.

Requirements:

  • Previous logistics experience or knowledge (not essential)
  • Customer service and admin experience in an office environment
  • Excellent interpersonal and communication skills
  • Meticulous attention to detail
  • Self-disciplined, reliable, and capable of working to set time frames
