Job Title: Logistics ManagerWe are seeking a highly skilled Logistics Manager to join our team in the UK. As a key member of our logistics team, you will be responsible for defining and executing the transport and warehousing strategy across our business, building a robust, cost-efficient, and service-oriented logistics operation.
Key Responsibilities:- Develop and implement logistics strategies to meet business objectives
- Manage a team of logistics professionals to ensure seamless execution of logistics operations
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure effective communication and coordination
- Monitor and analyze logistics performance metrics to identify areas for improvement
- Develop and maintain relationships with suppliers and customers to ensure excellent service delivery
- Working knowledge of logistics processes, including warehouse management and transport planning
- Demonstrable knowledge of MRP and experience managing a 3PL contract
- APICS/CPIM or equivalent certification
- Ability to lead and develop a team through coaching and authentic leadership
- Strong analytical skills and understanding of financial concepts combined with a continuous improvement mindset
