Key Responsibilities- Carry out delegated clinical and care tasks to a high standard, under the direction and supervision of a Registered Practitioner/Assistant Practitioner.
- Work autonomously and as part of a multi-disciplinary team to provide care and support to patients in a community setting.
- Communicate effectively with patients, relatives, and carers, and other members of the healthcare team.
- Recognize and report any issues related to safeguarding vulnerable adults/children in a timely manner.
- Minimum of QCF Level 3 (formerly NVQ Level 3) qualification.
- Evidence of maintaining personal development and understanding of the scope of the role in the context of the nursing team.
- Evidence of working within a specialist care setting.
- Knowledge of fundamental aspects of care and the importance of promoting health and wellbeing.
- Understanding of caring for individuals with particular conditions, such as dementia, mental illness, or learning disabilities.
