Job Title: Learning Support Assistant

About the Role:

We are seeking a dedicated and enthusiastic Learning Support Assistant to join our team at Itec Skills and Employment. As a Learning Support Assistant, you will play a vital role in supporting learners in achieving their academic goals.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Assist learners in completing work assigned by tutors, ensuring they receive the support they need to succeed.
  • Contribute to the delivery of learning programmes, engaging learners and promoting a positive learning environment.
  • Develop and maintain effective relationships with learners, tutors, and other stakeholders to ensure seamless support.
  • Monitor and report on learner progress, identifying areas for improvement and implementing strategies to address them.
  • Collaborate with tutors to develop and deliver learning plans, ensuring learners receive tailored support.

Desirable Qualifications and Experience:

  • Experience working with young people (16–18-year-olds) in a similar role.
  • Assessor qualification or equivalent.
  • Classroom Assistant or learning support qualification.
