About the Position:

As an Inclusion and Equity Strategist at ENGIE UK, you will play a pivotal role in advancing our diversity, equity, and inclusion (DEI) strategy and initiatives throughout the organization. This position calls for a strategic innovator with a strong commitment to enhancing diversity, equity, and inclusion within the workplace. You will collaborate closely with human resources, leadership, and various departments to execute and advocate for DEI programs that cultivate an inclusive organizational culture.

The Inclusion and Equity Strategist will be located in London, in a permanent full-time capacity, with a hybrid working model.

Key Responsibilities
  • Design and execute DEI initiatives, including the establishment of mentoring programs, organizing outreach events with educational institutions, and crafting inclusive leadership training.
  • Gather and evaluate data pertaining to our DEI initiatives, aiding in the assessment of progress and the impact of our programs.
  • Project management: Oversee various DEI projects from inception to completion, providing an opportunity to enhance your project management expertise.
  • Communication and engagement outreach: Assist in the communication and engagement strategies for our DEI initiatives directed at employees and stakeholders across ENGIE UK. This may involve creating content for our internal platforms, developing presentations, or participating in both internal and external events.
  • Collaborate with external organizations and communities to promote ENGIE UK's DEI initiatives and strengthen partnerships.
Key Requirements
  • Demonstrated experience in a DEI-focused role, ideally within a large organization.
  • Comprehensive understanding of diversity, equity, and inclusion principles and best practices.
  • Exceptional communication and interpersonal abilities, with the capacity to influence and engage stakeholders at all levels.
  • Experience in developing and delivering DEI training and programs.
  • Ability to analyze data and metrics to evaluate the effectiveness of DEI initiatives.
  • Strong project management capabilities, with the ability to juggle multiple priorities and deadlines.
  • Commitment to fostering an inclusive and diverse workplace culture.
  • Experience in collaborative work across various interfaces and influencing HR and business leaders in a matrixed international organization.
  • Strong academic credentials demonstrating the ability to learn and manage multiple tasks.
  • CIPD qualification or equivalent is desirable.
