About the Role

We are seeking a highly motivated and organized Sales Support Assistant to join our dynamic team at Universal Business Team. As a Sales Support Assistant, you will play a vital role in driving sales growth and supporting our on-the-road sales personnel.

Key Responsibilities
  • Follow-Up Work & Messages: Ensure timely communication and follow-up on leads to enhance customer relationships.
  • Reports & Planning Tasks: Prepare sales reports and assist in strategic planning to optimize sales performance.
  • Route Planning & Appointment Making: Organize travel routes and set appointments for the sales team to ensure efficient operations.
  • Proactive Telephone Sales Work: Engage with potential clients through proactive outreach to generate leads and schedule meetings.
  • Quotes & Progress Reports: Prepare quotes and track progress, providing necessary updates to the sales team and clients.
Requirements
  • Strong Communication Skills: Excellent literacy and telephone skills to effectively engage with clients and team members.
  • Organisational Excellence: Accurate and organized approach to manage multiple tasks and meet deadlines.
  • Team Player: A collaborative spirit with a willingness to support colleagues.
  • Enthusiastic & Energetic: Ability to thrive in a fast-paced environment with a positive attitude.
  • IT Proficiency: A solid understanding of IT tools to streamline processes and enhance productivity.
What We Offer
  • Competitive Salary: Earn between £33,000 - £37,000, based on your experience.

  • Flexible Working Hours: Monday – Friday, 8:00 to 17:00, with negotiable flexibility.
