Position Summary
We are seeking a skilled Bid Coordinator to enhance our established bid team. You will collaborate with a diverse group of professionals, including eight Bid Coordinators, a Bid Consultant, two Commercial Bid Managers, a Bid Library Manager, and an Opportunities Manager, all under the guidance of the Head of Technical Bids and Head of Commercial Bids.
Key Responsibilities
The Bid Coordinator will assist the Bid Manager in the preparation and delivery of bid documents and capability statements. Your role will involve:
- Coordinating the bid management process effectively.
- Organizing meetings, checkpoint calls, and bid reviews.
- Managing the overall bid timeline.
- Collaborating with the Bid Manager, Technical Authors, and external consultants to ensure timely collection of necessary documentation.
- Ensuring compliance and timely submission of bids and proposals.
- Proofreading content for grammatical accuracy.
- Implementing bid control procedures in line with Group Bid Management Processes.
- Analyzing bid outcomes and contributing high-scoring content to the Bid Content Database.

- Strong communication skills, both internally and externally.
- Proficient spoken and written English.
- Demonstrated initiative and perseverance.
- Excellent time and program management capabilities.
- Advanced proficiency in MS Office applications, including Word, Excel, and PowerPoint.
- Intermediate skills in MS Publisher or In-Design Creative Suite.
- Adaptability, including a willingness to work outside standard hours when required.
- Ability to work collaboratively within a team environment.
The ideal candidate will possess experience in a role that demands similar skills and competencies, with a strong focus on knowledge management and sharing.
