Aerospace Project Coordinator

Morson Talent is seeking a skilled Project Engineer to work with our aerospace client on a 6-month contract. The role involves coordinating engineering teams, championing systems engineering best practices, and coordinating project proposal activities.
Key Responsibilities:- Provide coordination to engineering teams representing multiple skill areas.
- Champion systems engineering best practice in the management of programme requirements hierarchy.
- Coordinate project proposal activities and ensure engineering leadership team awareness of proposal gate milestones and objectives.
- Identify metrics and report to programme leadership to provide a status of functional performance.
- Compare actual results to baseline plans to assess project performance, efficiencies, productivity, and lessons learned.
- Plan, identify, and coordinate resources required to support the programme through the management of functional resource requirements and reporting into status reviews.
- Provide technical coordination for the development and execution of project deliverables.
- Tailor and apply engineering initiatives, best practices, and quality processes.
- Manage risk, issues, and opportunities.
- A Degree level qualification in Engineering, Systems Engineering, or an engineering-related field, with experience in requirements management for systems and/or services.
- Experience in Project Planning and Management, excellent SE knowledge and skills, good IT skills, and excellent customer-facing skills.
- Registration with the Engineering Council as an Incorporated or Chartered Engineer (IEng or CEng), or be able to demonstrate the ability to work towards IEng/CEng.
- Knowledge of Military Airworthiness Authority (MAA) Regulatory Articles.
