About the Role
As an MRP Controller, you will be responsible for managing the weekly Material Requirements Planning (MRP) process, balancing demand and supply within available capacity, and setting inventory targets. You will work closely with operations and maintenance teams to minimize the impact of planned downtime and provide input for material requirement planning and vendor scheduling.
Key Responsibilities
- Orchestrate Scheduling (MPS) activities beyond the current week time horizon and for the whole MPS horizon
- Create and maintain production schedules to deliver in line with Programme requirements while maintaining Inventory targets and optimizing site capacity
- Support Operations in the analysis of Master Schedule Adherence
- Ensure system Master Data is up to date for all planning and scheduling purposes
- Coordinate between Operations & Maintenance to minimize impact of planned downtime
- Provide input for Material Requirement Planning / Vendor Scheduling process
- Support operations in monitoring manufacturing output/performance against the schedule/plan, challenging and understanding whenever performance differs from standard
- Provide communication/feedback to Programmes in case of any potential supply issues and also in order to improve Forecast accuracy
What We're Looking For
We're looking for an experienced MRP Controller with a strong background in operations supply planning, MPS, and MRP. You should have knowledge of forecasting and demand planning, daily scheduling and execution, master data management, inventory management, internal flow and warehousing. You should also be able to liaise with stakeholders of various levels and be competent with MS Packages.
