JOB DESCRIPTION

Wood is seeking a skilled **SPPID Application Administrator** to oversee the management of our SmartPlant P&ID database for an upcoming project.

The successful candidate will be responsible for configuring and sustaining the database in alignment with project requirements until the transition to the client is complete. This role will also involve identifying enhancements to the application and facilitating integrations with other SmartPlant solutions to optimize project delivery.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES
  • Serve as the **primary representative** for the SmartPlant P&ID Administrator across various projects.
  • Tailor the SPIDD database to meet **client-specific needs**.
  • Act as the **main liaison** for technical inquiries from the project team.
  • Enhance communication between the project team and ICT for effective issue resolution.
  • Engage in discussions regarding SPPID database configuration.
  • Maintain comprehensive documentation of all reference data modifications.
  • Execute maintenance utilities to ensure **database efficiency**.
  • Provide guidance to designers and ensure adherence to quality compliance standards.
  • Identify and document any **infrastructure challenges** for prompt resolution.
  • Generate line lists and validation reports for EPC projects.
  • Monitor production data through regular validation reports.
  • Conduct routine checks to ensure **data integrity**.
  • Run constraint reports and address any identified issues.
  • Communicate task completions to ICT effectively.
  • Identify potential improvements in application configuration.
  • Facilitate data transfer between SmartPlant applications to enhance project outcomes.
  • Define methods for data exchange that may require ICT programming.
  • Stay informed on application advancements that can benefit project execution.
  • Possess proficiency in **Microsoft Visual Basic for Applications**.
QUALIFICATIONS
  • Completion of Intergraph training on database configuration and customization, as well as P&ID creation (essential).
  • Basic understanding of Intergraph automation.
  • Proficiency in **Microsoft Visual Basic**.
