JOB DESCRIPTION

Wood is seeking a skilled SPPID Application Administrator to oversee the management of our SmartPlant P&ID database.

The successful candidate will be responsible for configuring and sustaining the database in alignment with project requirements until the final handover to the client. Additionally, they will play a crucial role in identifying enhancements and integrations with other SmartPlant applications to optimize project delivery.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES
  • Act as the representative for the SmartPlant P&ID Administrator across various projects.
  • Tailor the SPPID database to meet specific client needs.
  • Serve as the primary point of contact for technical inquiries from the project team.
  • Facilitate effective communication between the project team and ICT for prompt issue resolution.
  • Engage in meetings focused on the configuration of the SPPID database.
  • Maintain comprehensive documentation of all reference data modifications.
  • Execute maintenance utilities to ensure database efficiency.
  • Provide guidance to designers and ensure adherence to quality compliance standards.
  • Identify and document infrastructure challenges for timely resolution.
  • Generate line lists and validation reports for EPC projects.
  • Monitor production data through validation reports to ensure accuracy.
  • Conduct regular checks to uphold data integrity.
  • Generate constraint reports and address any identified issues.
  • Communicate the completion of tasks to ICT.
  • Propose enhancements in application configuration.
  • Ensure seamless data transfer between SmartPlant applications to maximize project benefits.
  • Define data exchange methods that necessitate ICT programming.
  • Stay informed about application advancements that can enhance project execution.
  • Demonstrate proficiency in Microsoft Visual Basic for Applications.
QUALIFICATIONS
  • Completion of Intergraph training focused on database configuration and customization, along with P&ID creation (essential).
  • Fundamental understanding of Intergraph automation.
  • Strong proficiency in Microsoft Visual Basic.
